Should grandparents be given more rights?
When parents divorce, grandparents should have the right to see their grandchildren, according to ministers.
Although it won’t become law, when a couple get divorced they will be encouraged to make an agreement that their children will stay in contact with their grandparents.
A Government source said: “Children get a huge amount of love and support from grandparents. We will do what we can to ensure that grandparents can remain part of their grandchild’s life even if their mum and dad separate.”

This is an easy question. I will give an easy answer. Childrens should be alowed with grandparents, regardless of which side of the family they're from.

Fab idea! Grandparents really support children, and when parents split up, they can be of even more support and reassurance. x

definitely. My best friend's nan says that she's not even allowed to give her relatives' children presents as it offends the parents. Now her relatives' have a baby the mother is so protective she won't even let her visit. It is very sad, in times gone by elderly people were always respected as having more experience and knowledge than others, but now many are just left behind. It really is unfair.

Of course they should have more rights!! My grandparents are very encouraging and teach me a lot so it's fair that children, even with divorced parents, should get to see them! Also, it's not fair because the grandparents will always love the kids.
