Shhh! First News has all the celebrity gossip
First News has got all the celebrity gossip!
Spider-man
The release date for the next Spider-Man flick has been revealed by Sony Pictures. The fourth film will hit cinemas in the summer of 2012, with a new cast and film-making team. Tobey Maguire is believed to be playing Peter Parker again, with rumours of a fifth film also planned.
Simon Cowell
Simon Cowell has announced he is quitting the US TV show American Idol. Instead, he plans to launch the X Factor in the US. There are already lots of rumours about which celebrities will be on the judging panel with him.
Justin Bieber
Keep your eyes (and ears) peeled for a brilliant new pop star launching this year. Canadian teen singer (he’s just 15) Justin Bieber is releasing his debut single, One Time, and album, My World, in the UK this week. Hailing from a country that gets very, very cold in winter, Justin thinks it’s pretty amusing how we’ve dealt with the recent snow. He laughs: “You guys are acting like it’s the end of the world – everything’s cancelled and the subway’s not working – but in Canada this is, like, the least amount of snow we get. We have to have at least 3m of snow to get a day off school.”
