Cheryl Cole had fans doing double takes yesterday as she stood next to her new wax figure at Madame Tussauds, London.

Pop and fashion icon Cheryl Cole has joined the celebrity wax family at Madame Tussauds, London.

Cheryl Cole had fans doing double takes yesterday as she stood next to her new wax figure at Madame Tussauds, London. Cheryl has now joined the likes of David and Victoria Beckham, Russell Brand and Spiderman in the world famous wax museum. 

Cheryl could not believe the resemblance when she came face to face with her figure yesterday and has stated that she couldn't explain how strange it is to be standing next to herself!

Although the clear distinction was the colour of Cheryl's famous locks. While the waxwork was being designed, Cheryl still sported her iconic brown hair and as a result so does the new waxwork, however the real Cheryl is now sporting blazing red hair. Nevertheless, the designers of the figure should be congratulated because the resemblance is still uncanny!

The waxwork cost £150, 000 to make but undoubtedly this will pay off as an army of Cole fans (including us!) are bound to swarm the museum to get a glimpse of one of Britain's biggest celebrities.
