Second Youth Olympics gold for Britain
Two rowers have won a second gold medal for Britain at the first ever Youth Olympic Games.
Fiona Gammond and Georgia Howard-Merrill won the women's pair final today at the Marina Reservoir in Singapore. However, the pair didn't even realise that they'd won until some time after the race had finished.
"I did not even know that we won, we're shocked!" said Howard-Merrill. "We did not realise that we would be that fast!"
Meanwhile, British sprinter David Bolarinwa was the fastest man in the heats. He qualified for the 100m final with a time of 10.62secs, and says that he "reserved a lot for the final".
