Rise in hoax emergency calls

Members of the emergency services have complained that an increasing number of 999 calls are 'jokes'.

    I haven't pranked called 999 but I have called my best friend as a joke but we both found it funny (she also knew it was me because of my mobile number oops!) I wouldn't dare do it to anyone else.

    It does risk lives who need any of the services and the reciever person is waisting there time

    why do people do that it could end up with someone dying, and it would actually be there fault the youth of today dosen't think sometimes!
