Rihanna is a movie star!

Rihanna has landed a role in a big Hollywood movie.

The popstar has been chosen to star in Battleship, an action movie set to hit cinemas in May 2012.

It is based on the game of the same name Battleship and though the film's plot has not yet been revealed, it is thought it will feature a battle over land, sea and air against an alien force.

Rihanna has acted before; in the cheerleading film Bring It On: All or Nothing and on US comedy sketch show, Saturday Night Live, but this is her biggest acting challenge to date. It his expected to be one of the biggest films of 2012, so she will be under a lot of pressure to perform.     I don't like Rihanna because she spends SOOO much money on her look,but I do hope she does well in her movie!
