My best friend and I won the chance to record our version of our favourite song in a recording studio. This was a dream come true for me as I love singing.

On 4 September I went to ALT Recording Studios in Hove with my best friend, Becky, to enjoy this experience. We chose our favourite song, Cry Me Out, by Pixie Lott. At the studio we listened to the backing track and made sure we knew when to come in with the words. Then it was time for the vocals so we were nervous at first which meant we were both quiet but as we got more confident we began to get louder.

We had a few takes at singing different parts and when we listened back it sounded very funny hearing ourselves. The day was an amazing experience for both of us and we got to take a copy of the finished version home. Thank you to First News and My Blue Nose Friends for giving me this fantastic experience.
