Randy the ram caught with ‘a smirk on his face’ after fathering 33 lambs in 24 hours

A ram called Randy managed to father 33 lambs after jumping a 1.5m fence and finding a flock of female sheep.

Despite only being on the loose for 24 hours, Randy the ram managed to get one third of a flock of female sheep pregnant.

It's said that Randy had ‘a smirk on his face’ when he was caught.

So far 13 lambs have been born at West Lodge Rural Centre in Desborough, Northamptonshire, and 20 more are expected 'any day'.

Ryan Thompson, manager of the farm said: "We don’t know how he managed it all."

This is not the first time Randy has jumped a fence; in November Randy jumped a fence and headbutted a farmer when they tried to take him to slaughter.

Luckily, the farmers think that Randy is so funny that they have decided to keep him afterall.
