Pub makes beer for dogs

A pub in Newcastle upon Tyne has started selling special food and beer for dogs!

The Brandling Villa pub in Gosforth wants to make man’s best friend feel as at home in the place as humans.

The special doggy beer is alcohol-free and made with malt (just like real beer) and beef flavouring (unlike real beer!). So far, all the dogs who have tried the drink seem to love it.

The pub also offers a dog menu too which includes a Sunday roast with cat-flavoured gravy (not made from real cats) and a doggy chicken casserole.

Dog beer is becoming quite a popular treat for pooches across the UK since it became available in pet stores.
