Jake Gyllenhaal, Gemma Arterton and the cast of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time appeared in London last night for the World Premiere of the film.

In a world first, the event was held at the Westfield centre. Hosted by Alex Zane and Sarah Cawood, the premiere included a spectacular performance by Freerunning team '3RUN' which was overseen by the 'King of Parkour' David Belle.

Other cast, crew, and guests in attendance included Sir Ben Kingsley, Toby Kebbell, Richard Coyle, Producer Jerry Bruckheimer and Director Mike Newell as well as thousands of fans.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time opens in UK cinemas on the 21st May.

From the team that brought the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy to the big screen, Walt Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer Films present PRINCE OF PERSIA: THE SANDS OF TIME, an epic action-adventure set in the mystical lands of Persia. A rogue prince (JAKE GYLLENHAAL) reluctantly joins forces with a mysterious princess (GEMMA ARTERTON) and together, they race against dark forces to safeguard an ancient dagger capable of releasing the Sands of Time - a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world.

PRINCE OF PERSIA: THE SANDS OF TIME is in UK cinemas from May 21st.
