Presidential candidate claims to be a time-traveller

France's presidential candidate Hervé Morin has claimed he was around during the D-Day landings.

Hervé Morin was already doing badly in the polls, but he was widely mocked this week when he said: “I saw the landing of allied troops in Normandy.”

The D-Day landings in Normandy happened in 1944, but Morin wasn’t born until 1961!
