Pirates of the Caribbean 4 breaks UK box office records
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides has broken box office records in the UK.
The latest Pirates of the Caribbean sequel starring Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz is the first of the films to be shot in 3D.
It has topped the UK box office, earning £11.6 million on its first weekend at UK cinemas. This is the biggest opening weekend of any film, so far, this year.
Recently Thor and Fast and Furious 5 were winning in the UK's top ten box office line up.
