Clever orangutans mime to each other to get their message across, according to new studies.

Scientists from Canada observed the orangutans using gestures to make other orangutans understand. For example, they would mime scratching to get another orangutan to help them with an itch.

The study, which is being published in Biology Letters, shows that the communication between great apes is more complicated than first thought!
