One in four primary schools in England don’t have a male teacher.

More men are needed, says a teaching group, as male role models are important for primary school kids.

    MY PRIMARY SCHOOL HAD ONLY 2 MALE TEACHERS AND THEY WERE MUSIC TEACHERS

    But you cant force men to be teachers,maybe men prefer to do differant jobs on average.Then again governers could try to get a variation in staff :D

    I agree with coolcatz, what's wrong with that? Maybe men prefer not to be teachers? Give them a break!

    My school had two male teachers, for year 2 and 3, but they were only there for a few weeks.
