Olympic Silver Medallist Gail Emms visited our school
Olympic Silver Medallist Gail Emms visited our school to look ahead to Lloyds TSB National School Sport Week.
We are all really excited about the Olympic Games coming to London next year, so when we heard that Gail Emms would be visiting our school to try out some new Olympic and Paralympic sports with us, we couldn’t wait to get started.
When we arrived, there were photographers and reporters waiting to see Gail Emms and there were four exciting activities lined up for us to try – boxing, seated volleyball, table tennis and handball. We had never tried these before so it was fun to be able to do it for the first time with an Olympic star!
We learned so much, really enjoyed the activities and planned which sports to promote back at school. We even got our shirts signed by Gail! Now we can’t wait for National School Sport Week when we get to try them all again.
