Olympic fans left disappointed in second bid for tickets
Many Olympic fans were left disappointed this morning, after the official website failed to cope with the high demand of bids in the second round of ticket sales.
Last week it was confirmed that 2.3 million tickets would be made available in a second round of the London 2012 Olympic tickets sales, beginning at 6am this morning, after millions were left empty handed in the first round of ticket sales.
Unfortunately, those who woke up that extra bit early this morning were left disappointed as the official website failed to cope with the high demand.
Online bidders were left with a message that said: "We are experiencing high demand. You will be automatically directed to the page requested as soon as it becomes available."
