Oil spill will reach Florida in 6 days
Scientists have warned that the oil spill off the Gulf of Mexico could reach Florida in as little as six days.
Oil from the Gulf of Mexico oil spill has entered an ocean current that could take it to Florida and along the east coast of the US in as little as six days, scientists say.
BP have paid out $15m (£10.4m) compensation this week, most of it to shrimpers and commercial fishermen whose jobs have been ruined because the spill is killing off ad polluting shrimps and fish.
