HARRY POTTER author, JK Rowling, has revealed the news that Muggles everywhere have been waiting for – there might be another book.

In a rare interview on American television, the author said she cried when she finished writing the last book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

“I was in a slight state of shock,”

she said.

Miss Rowling said the only other time she had cried in her life was when her mother died and, if that hadn’t happened, she would probably never have written about the boy wizard.

“At least half of Harry’s journey is a journey to deal with death,” she said, “what it means to die, what survives death. If she hadn’t died I don’t think it’s too strong to say there wouldn’t be Harry Potter.”

The multi-millionaire author went on to reveal that there may be more Harry books to come.

“I could definitely write an eighth, ninth and tenth,” she said. “I’m not going to say I won’t. I feel I am done but you never know…”

    I really enjoyed the Harry Potter books and it would be great if there was another. Though, I'm not exactly sure how you could continue as you-know-what happened at the end i'm not saying it but how WOULD you continue?

    I absoulutley lovelovelove harry potter so much (i am hermione grangers biggest fan ever) it would be immense but J.K.R ended the last book really well so how would she carry it on?

    I think i would be really great if she wrote another. I would like it if let the fans ask questions about characters or life after the 7th, and she could answer them through the book

    i think she should defo write another book but the movies are getting a bit bad compared to the first two which were amazing. i would defo read the book tho but i have got the hole book collection and there would be no space in the box left :(
