Mermaids come to London Aquarium

Mermaids have been spotted swimming and dancing underwater at the SEA LIFE London Aquarium. The fishy females are amazing underwater performers known as the Weeki Wachee Mermaids.

The synchronised aquabatics troupe are from Florida, USA, and they performed their first ever show outside of the country at the giant Ocean Reef Display at the SEA LIFE London Aquarium.

The mermaids performed a magical mix of underwater ballet and aquabatics to a musical soundtrack alongside rare green turtles, cownose rays and tropical fish.
