Following weeks of rumours, Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan has confirmed that her and boyfriend Max George are engaged. 

Michelle confirmed the engagement in her official magazine column, saying: "I can't believe I'm engaged to Max... It's dead exciting because I really didn't see it coming and I seriously can't wait to spend my future with him."

Michelle went on to say that the couple would not be getting married this year, as they are both too busy with their careers.
