Marwell Wildlife Park's new tiny tapir
This tiny Brazilian tapir is called Little Ron and he is the newest arrival at Marwell Wildlife Park in Hampshire.
Little Ron was named after his dad, Ronaldo, who sadly died at the park last month.
Little Ron is one of three Brazilian tapirs at the park. He will live with his mum, Summer, and older sister Quito. Brazilian tapirs originally come from the Amazon rainforest. Their unusual-shaped noses help them when they’re trying to escape from jaguars, who are their main predators. They use their nose to breathe through when hiding in rivers and lakes, just like a snorkel!
