Marvellous Martin
German golfer Martin Kaymer has won his first ever major, taking the USPGA title after a dramatic three-hole play-off.
Kaymer won the last of the year’s four major trophies at the Whistling Straits course in Wisconsin, US. He was level with Bubba Watson on 11 under par, but won on the last hole of the two-way play-off.
Northern Ireland’s young star Rory McIlroy was in joint second on ten under. Tiger Woods was back on two under, and missed out on automatic qualification for the Ryder Cup.
