Man robs bank and is covered in red dye hidden in the stolen cash
An armed robber’s plans for a sneaky getaway were foiled after security dye concealed inside stolen money exploded leaving behind a trail of red smoke.
The robber demanded the money from a member of staff at the NatWest bank in Bedford, who handed it over inside a security dye pack. The device then exploded while the thief was hiding out in a local pub, engulfing him in red dye. The robber is still at large.
