Man gives up job to live like Tarzan in the jungle

A man from Manchester has given up his job at a supermarket to live like Tarzan in the South African jungle.

For three days a week, DeWet DuToit lives alone, eating nuts, berries and insects.

He films his life, including his jungle friends, Shaka the elephant and various zebra and monkeys.

“People might say I’m crazy,” he explains, “but I know this is what I was born to do. I’m like Tarzan in so many ways.”

Every three days, DeWet visits his parents at their family home in George, South Africa, and says he hopes one day to find his Jane who will enjoy jungle life as much as he does!

    WOW! That must be very cool to live like tarzan, i would if i were a meat eater, but i am not :(

    Omg! That must be so fun to live in the jungle!!! But it would be freezing in the winter. And three days is not that long.

    There is'nt anything wrong with that! It doesn't give you money, but- hey, when you are Tarzan you don't need money!
