Lion cubs get early Christmas presents at ZSL London Zoo
They’re ZSL London Zoo’s new ‘mane’ attraction and they’re getting into the Christmas spirit early this year.
Three-month-old lion cubs Indi and Heidi were treated to special Christmas puddings and presents last Thursday courtesy of their keepers.
The Christmas puds and presents were filled with treats to spark Indi and Heidi’s natural curiosity and playful nature as they explore their outdoor enclosure.
Zookeeper Paul Kybett says: "This is Indi and Heidi’s first Christmas, so as an early present we thought we would give them everyone’s favourite festive dish – Christmas puddings!
"We’ll be putting meat in their presents as an extra special gift this year. The playful pair love to explore new things, so hopefully their first Christmas will be a cracker."
