Laws to protect puppies

New laws are being introduced in Wales to stop cruel puppy farms.

New laws are set to ban cruel puppy farms. Puppy farms breed puppies in cramped conditions where the animals are often not given room to move about, which can lead to them getting health problems.

The new law means that breeders have to microchip all puppies and give their dogs the right amount of care and supervision when they’re young. The new law also means that one human is only allowed to care for 20 dogs.

The RSPCA video below shows you why puppy farms are so bad.
