The Government want schools to teach you how to manage money

Kids to get lessons about money

From next year you could be getting lessons about money at school.

The Government want schools to teach you how to manage money as part of a scheme to avoid the money problems that happened around the world last year.

Secondary school kids will be given advice on credit cards and mortgages. Seven-year-olds will learn about bank accounts and how they work.

Schools Secretary Ed Balls says: “It’s vital that all young people leave school with a basic understanding of how to manage their money sensibly.”

    it would be a good thing that we did learn about money but why learn at such young ages because i am going into high school next year but i understand that it is very inportant that we know because of dept the credit crunch and the recession plz anwser to my question

    I think that it would be a really food thing to learn about money as it will give us a head start and money is part of everyone life and is a every day situation.
