iPhone launches app to save gorillas
A Mobile phone application has been launched to try and help save mountain gorillas in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The application has been developed for the iPhone or iPad and is called iGorilla. The app follows gorilla families living in the Virunga National Park, deep in remote forests. It costs £3 to download and most of the money goes straight to helping the gorillas.
Mountain gorillas are critically endangered, with only 720 believed to be left in the wild. Out of these 720, 211 live in Virunga.
