India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar breaks world record by scoring a double century in a one-day international match.

India’s Sachin Tendulkar has made history by scoring the first ever double century in a one-day international (ODI).

The cricketing legend finished the match against South Africa on 200 not out, helping India to win by 153 runs.

The highest score in 2,961 previous ODIs was 194. Tendulkar’s innings included three sixes and 25 fours, and he faced 147 balls in his three hours and 46 minutes at the crease.
