I would love to be an Olympic athlete!
I’ve been a member of my local athletic club for years and would love to be an Olympic athlete.
This year Keycamp Holidays is starting a cool Fun Olympics activity programme. They invited me on a family break to check out the many sports and games at their holiday parks, so that I could give advice on what kids would like to be included in Fun Olympics.
I had a brilliant time trying everything from archery to horse riding to a tree top adventure course but I have to raise my (exhausted) arms and admit that every activity was extremely fun!
For Fun Olympics, I recommended team events like obstacle races because they are great fun for those who aren’t the best runners and give everyone a chance at winning (no matter how sporty they are), plus some fun and easy to understand sports like long jump, soft javelin and mixed-age relay races.
Fun Olympics are a great way to get excited about the London 2012 Olympics!
