I won a competition with Disney XD Aim High for a rugby mentorship

I travelled from West Wales to Leicester after I won a competition with Disney XD Aim High for a rugby mentorship.

I set off in the morning to go to the Leicester Tigers’ training ground, which was huge!

I got to meet rugby players Kevin Sinfield and Toby Flood and, as part of my sports photography mentorship, I got to take pictures of them during training.

My photography mentor gave me some great tips to get the best shots: how to focus on your image and position the camera to get the best angle. I ended up with some amazing images!

Disney XD Aim High gave me the best opportunity to experience the day as a sports photographer and I’ve definitely picked up a passion for photography!

As I left, I was given a backpack filled with Disney XD goodies, including a camcorder! I had a great day and will remember it forever.
