I went to the Puss in Boots premiere!

On 24 November, I went to the Puss in Boots premiere. I went on the train with my mum to Leicester Square.

We weren’t allowed to go inside the cinema until 5:45pm, so we waited outside where the red carpet was with lots of other people who had tickets.

Eventually, the time arrived and we had to walk down the red carpet. The carpet was orange, to tie in with the theme of the film. There were loads of journalists there taking pictures of people walking past.

We went inside the cinema and it was massive! It looked like an actual theatre. We were given 3D glasses and went to our seats.

On our seats there were goody bags. Inside was a cat mask, a bottle of water, popcorn and different activity sheets. While we were waiting, there was lots of entertainment going on. There were actors, magicians and people making different shapes with balloons.

Then the film started. It was a really good film. I would definitely see it in the cinema again!

There were a few different fairy-tale references in the film and it had almost the whole cinema laughing. In the film, Puss in Boots tried to get magic beans from Jack and Jill with some help from his friends. He wanted the beans to get the golden goose who laid golden eggs so he could get rich and to help an old friend out.

However, the plan isn’t as straightforward as it seems at the start!
