I went to the premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part Two
I went to the premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part Two, and this is what I thought…
I was lucky enough to attend the premiere for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part Two, and report from the red carpet for FILMCLUB.
I managed to chat to Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), Matt Lewis (Neville Longbottom), Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy) and BAFTA-award winning actress Imelda Staunton (Delores Umbridge).
The thing I liked most about the film was definitely the climactic fight scene between Harry and Voldemort. It takes place at Hogwarts and is a fantastic, magical battle between reunited characters. Another part I liked was the ongoing love story between Ron and Hermione - what all we fans have been waiting for finally happened!
The film is a fitting finale to the series - it made me laugh, cry and filled me with every other emotion possible. The developing hype around the worldwide phenomenon really was justified. Hogwarts has been like my second home for the past ten years. Knowing it's all ending is like the end of my childhood. I would rate this 5/5. It is a superb film with an excellent cast and crew.
