I went to a dance workshop run by Diversity

I went to a dance workshop run by Diversity to raise awareness for the charity Railway Children, which helps kids on the street in East Africa, India and the UK.

My day started with a train journey from Stockport to London. At the workshop we were all told about the 100,000 kids who run away every year. I already knew about this because my dad works at Railway Children, but not many of the others did, though.

I was really nervous about meeting Diversity, but they were so funny and patient. They were happy to be part of the workshop because they think it is wrong that so many kids feel forced out of their home and into dangerous situations.

The dance that I did at the workshop has been uploaded and is helping to raise money for Railway Children.

At the end of the day I was exhausted, but felt proud to have helped make a difference to kids the same age as me.
