I travelled to London to meet Dan and Swampy for my mentorship at Soho Hotel.

Dan and Swampy showed us how a Storyboard works and they showed us a really funny rap called Animatin’ that they had recorded. Next we were taken to the Swirl Room in the hotel where we had a master class in animation. Dan and Swampy showed us how to draw the characters and we got to draw our favourite character.

Thomas Sangster, the voice of Ferb, even made a guest appearance.

We also got the chance to watch Phineas and Ferb Across the 2nd Dimension Movie in a really cool cinema with huge seats. The film was awesome.

After lunch I had the chance to interview Dan and Swampy. I asked Swampy what his favourite English meal was and he said “fish and chips!”. I had my photo taken with them and just before I left I was given a really cool backpack with a whiteboard, pencil case and secret agent gadgets.

My day was fantastic and I really enjoyed it. Dan and Swampy were really fun and cool.
