The atmosphere was amazing! I couldn’t believe how many people had arrived with their pets, ready to join in the fun!

At Garfield’s Kitchen, Static Shell (the crazy chef) was making a cup of tea with a difference. She tried all sorts of fun experiments with food that she found around the kitchen, all of which went wrong in some way or another – which we all found hilarious!

At Pink Panther’s Pet Parlour we met a dog called Jay, who was having his fur and claws trimmed. I couldn’t believe how well behaved he was. It was so interesting to see behind the scenes of a “doggie hairdresser”, because it is something an owner never normally sees.

Scooby’s Pet Heroes for the day were the Berkshire Search and Rescue Dogs. It was a fantastic display, demonstrating how they would search and locate missing people using air scenting and communicating with their handlers, to show them where the missing people were.

I enjoyed the funky rhythms of the Bugs Bunny Big Beat Band, before watching the world premiere of Scooby Doo: Mystery Incorporated. It was just as exciting as I thought it would be.

I wanted Rosie, my dog, to have something to remind her of our wonderful day out, so I was really pleased to be able to decorate a Boomerang dog bowl and scarf for her. She looked ultra cool and tried out her bowl straight away with some doggie treats, followed by some special meat flavoured doggie ice cream, called “Dog eat Hog world” from the K99 ice cream van!

Rosie and I both had a brilliant day. The Boomerang Pets’ Party was so much fun!
