Some explorers think that they have discovered the remains of Noah's Ark on Mount Ararat in Turkey.

The explorers searching for Noah's Ark found seven large wooden compartments which they say date from 2,800BC buried under all the snow at the top of Mount Ararat. They think that these are the remains of the boat.

"It's not 100% that it is Noah's Ark, but we think it is 99.9% that this is it," said Yeung Wing-cheung, a film maker with the team.

Not everyone believes this. "If there had been a flood capable of lifting a huge ship 4km up the side of a mountain 4,800 years ago, I think there would be substantial geological evidence for this flood around the world. And there isn't," said British archaeologist Mike Pitt.

Nicholas Purcell, an ancient history expert at the University of Oxford, said that the story was 'nonsense', pointing out that such a deep flood in 2,800BC would have wiped out the ancient Egyptians.

i think it is just another similar boat because the ark would have probably broken up over millions of years

I've read the story in the Bible. I'm very sure that it's not Noah's Ark, though. The boat couldn't have existed for so long! It must have decomposed.

I hope it is! I believe in the story and it would be great for archeologists if it was true.
