Google sets out to make a phone that will translate different languages
Google is hoping to create a phone that can translate foreign languages. It would mean that two people speaking different languages could understand each other over the phone.
Google already has a program which translates text from one of 52 languages into another.
Plus they’ve made a voice recognition system where a person can search on the web by talking into their phone rather than typing on a keyboard.
Now they want to combine the two technologies to make the translator telephone.
