Four killed in multiple bomb blasts in Thailand

Four people have been killed and over 70 injured in a series of bomb blasts in Thailand

Multiple bombings have killed at least four people and injured 74 in Thailand's deep south, next to the Malaysian border.

Many of the victims are in a critical condition with burns over 50% of their bodies.

The bombs were planted in two motorbikes and a car and set off at a karaoke bar, the Tae Chiew Clan charity association, and the Merlin Hotel.

Thai police suspect that the bombs were planted by a Malaysian loyalist group called the Runda Kumpalan Kecil (RKK).

Around 4,800 people have been killed in the Thailand/Malaysia border area since 2004.
