Football race row in France

A football official has claimed that the sport’s bosses held meetings to try to limit the numbers of non-white players in the national team.

The team coach, Laurent Blanc, has been accused of taking part in the meetings, although his former team-mate Zinedine Zidane said that Blanc is not racist.
