Working on something like Spirit Warriors (a major new show with loads of special effects and sets) brings people very close together because everyone is very much dependant on each other. I quickly became very good friends with all the cast and crew. Working with the other four warriors, (Lil Simz, Karl Rogers, Alicia Lia and Jess Henwick) was really great, I think we all have a certain flare. We would always joke and chat off set about all sorts of topics and while filming we would act off each other to create a great scene.

One of the harder aspects was filming against green screen. This is a way of filming where the actors do the scene in front of a huge green screen and the visual effects team add the computer effects later, creating a whole new world behind us. It was pretty hard to do, because we had to look at the screen and imagine something was there – like Shen the dragon, but of course it was not actually there! It took some time to get used to it. When I saw myself on screen, I was really proud of what everyone had worked for and it was also a very strange feeling watching yourself, talking to a dragon.

I really hope everyone enjoys Spirit Warriors and I personally think it is great. I will never forget my time playing Trix, and I will never forget the friends I made. It was an awesome experience that was really hard and tiring, yet it was also the best experience I’ve ever had.
