First News Meets the Makers of the new Princess and the Frog movie and video game!

Hi! My name is Beattie Pritchard and I was lucky enough to go to Paris on Friday 15th January to interview the Supervising Animator (Andreas Deja) and the Director of the Nintendo DS game (Joe Vance) of the new Disney film ‘The Princess and the Frog’.  I had a great time and found out how they made the movie and the video game.  

Andreas is a really famous animator and has previously created Gaston from Beauty and the Beast and Scar from The Lion King.  He created the character Mama Odie for Princess and the Frog – who is a really funny character and is the wisest woman in the bayou and holds the key to many mysteries.  Andreas showed me how he created Mama Odie – with this special picture. 

Joe Vance works for Disney Interactive Studios – the people that make the video game of the film. He was really cool and told me all about how they make the game and which are his favourite activities in it.
