Frankie Jonas is the youngest Jonas Brother - sometimes known as the “Bonus Jonas”. But now Frankie Jonas has come into his own by voicing the character of Sōsuke (alongside Miley Cyrus's sister Noah Cyrus who voices Ponyo) in the animated film Ponyo out this month.

First News interviewed Frankie Jonas to find out more about Ponyo..

Tell us about the film Ponyo…

The movie is about a goldfish named Ponyo who becomes friends with a little boy, and later wants to become a human girl.

What’s Sosuke, the character you provide the voice for, like?

Sosuke is a little kid who becomes good friends with Noah Cyrus’ character, Ponyo, who plays the little goldfish.

How did you get involved in the film?

They asked me to audition. It was my first audition but I wasn’t nervous.

What audition tips would you give to other kids?

I would tell them to do the best they can and don’t be nervous.

What was the hardest part of the process?

I guess the hardest part was probably saying the same line over and over again so they can pick the perfect one to go in the movie.

Is it weird just providing a voice?

No, it wasn’t weird at all. It was cool!
