SIXTY years after they were first published, the Famous Five book series are getting updated.

The books, which were written by Enid Blyton, follow five kids on their amazing adventures. The books featured lots of old fashioned words and phrases which have been replaced with modern equivalents.

The Famous Five books are still one of the most popular children’s book series, selling half a million copies per year.
