Ex-circus lions to be rehomed at Wingham Wildlife Park
Two French circus lions are due to be rehomed at Wingham Wildlife Park in Kent.
A new enclosure has just been completed at the park, which was purpose-built for Clarence and Brutus, the two Lions which had been rescued from a circus in France.
"The enclosure has turned out very nicely for these two boys, and I am sure that they will love living here," said Tony Binskin, the director of Wingham Wildlife park.
"It will certainly give them the most space and freedom they have known since their birth, so we can’t wait to see how they react to being with us."
The lions are due to arrive at the park on February 20, but won't be on show to the public until February 25.
