English setters could be extinct
One of the oldest breeds of British dog is under threat from extinction, according to the Kennel Club.
In the last few years, the popularity of breeds like the English setter (pictured) has fallen, in place of trendy dog breeds like the Chihuahua and the Siberian husky.
The popularity of a breed is calculated by the number of puppies registered to the Kennel Club every year.
In total, 24 native breeds of dog are thought to be at risk by the Kennel Club.

That is very sad. Even though chiuauas are trendy people could still buy this breed of dog!
