Doctor Who boss 'exterminate' Daleks

Doctor Who boss 'exterminates' Daleks

Doctor Who executive producer and writer, Steven Moffat, has said that the Daleks won't be appearing in any future episodes for a while.

Although the Daleks are undoubtedly the most famous of the Time Lord's enemies, executive producer and writer, Steven Moffatt has stated that they will not be appearing in future episodes for some time.

Moffatt stated in the Radio Times: "We thought it was about time to give them a rest. They have been defeated by the Doctor about 400 times."

The deadly monotone aliens made their first appearance in Doctor Who during the first series of the show, back in 1963.

I think Moffat is right though - the daleks have been played out a bit too much in the last several series; we need to see some new characters!! :)
