Deathly Hallows Part 2 has earned over $1bn
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 has earned over $1bn (£609m) since its release.
This is the first time one of the Harry Potter films has earned over $1bn at the box office (and it's only been out for a few weeks!). The very first Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, came very close back in 2001, earning an impressive $974.8m.
The final Harry Potter looks like it might give Avatar a run for its money. The epic sci-fi film is currently the highest ever earner at the worldwide box office, hauling in $2.8bn back in 2009.
