Dale Farm travellers build new camp

Despite an £18million legal battle to evict them, most of the Dale Farm travellers have moved back to a site next to Dale farm.

Approximately 80 traveller families were evicted from the Dale Farm site in October 2011 following a ten-year legal battle costing £18 million.

The majority of evicted travellers have moved to the neighbouring Oak Lane site.

Basildon Council is due to serve eviction notices on around 17 Oak Lane pitches because the overcrowding breaches planning permission.

Why can't they just leave them be? It would save a lot of money and make lots of people happy...

That is horrid that all the dale farm travvelers have to move away from there home. Because they have no proper home, all they have are caravans, cars and tents. So the govorment have no right to take what is so little of a home, and when they fight to keep there home they send in people to kill them! So they better not steal there new feild of a home because some of them have had to move into a small street!
