Chile officials lower death toll from 800 to under 600
After rescue efforts, the death toll for the Chile earthquake has been lowered from over 800 to under 600
Chilean officials have lowered the number of earthquake victims from 805 to 528, it was reported over the weekend.
However, it has been said that missing people and unidentified earthquake victims could still change this number.
The 8.8 magnitude earthquake is the biggest to hit Chile since a 9.5 magnitude quake in 1960 which killed over 2,000 people.
